We’re all living in a new tomorrow, where unexpected challenges occur daily. Here are examples of how we’ve partnered with clients to navigate through the unexpected.

An organization remotely supporting others

A nonprofit providing critical health programs to adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities used our Dedicated Fiber Internet (DFI) service to deliver core platforms and support applications. After directing employees to work from home, the organization’s leaders added telehealth solutions and discovered their bandwidth demands had grown significantly. They turned to us to help them scale bandwidth quickly.

We upgraded their DFI service from 50 Mbps to 100 Mpbs within two business days. Now, medical staff uses telehealth solutions to communicate in real time through HIPAA-compliant virtual connections with medical professionals in remote locations. The upgraded DFI service also helps maintain a reliable connection between program members and loved ones through a videoconferencing system while in-person visits are temporarily suspended.

A community working collectively

One medical technology company in the West works with physicians, scientists, and others worldwide on treatments and cures for COVID-19.

To share information and files in real time with their global taskforce counterparts, the company partnered with us to implement our DFI service, a dedicated, high-performance fiber network designed to support mission-critical data and cloud-based applications.

Installed in three days, the service provides high speeds and scalable bandwidth to support not only applications like video conference calls but also the transfer of large research files. In this collaborative culture, the scientists depend heavily on this connectivity solution to actively compare notes and live stream their findings.

Students learning remotely

The president of a rural technical college where the majority of the population falls below the poverty level was determined not to let the pandemic prevent his students from learning.

The program, which is provided at no cost to students, delivers the reliable connectivity required to support live online classes, course replays and any necessary tutoring from their homes. Today, students are actively taking advantage of the program and continuing their studies.
