Digital signage with Set Back Box TV

Digital signage¹ is a free feature included with Set Back Box TV service, and it provides an impactful way to create customized digital campaigns. There’s no need for expensive displays or additional monthly fees. Digital signage can be enabled on all TVs, pre-defined areas or specific TVs throughout your location to share promotional campaigns, event notifications and other information.

Ways to deploy Set Back Box TV digital signage

• Promotional ad space for on-site amenities and retail.
• Useful property information, such as building directories, WiFi logins and hours.
• Conference, event and meeting room schedules.
• Required employee notices, safety guidelines and job postings.
• Internal team information such as guest reviews, media coverage and sales dashboards.
   

How to set up digital signage

Digital signage is easy to set up via a client portal. Once logged into the portal, refer to the Set Back Box TV EzVu Portal guide under the Config tab for detailed instructions to complete the following:

• Upload images.
• Add, edit or delete schedules.
• Enable for all TVs, pre-defined areas or specific TVs.
• Set the date, time, duration of display and amount of time between images.
• Switch easily between displaying digital signs, live TV or other menu options on the TV using the Set Back Box remote control.
   

Image specifications

• Images must be in a PNG, JPEG or non-animated GIF format.
• If you have PowerPoint slides to upload, they must be saved individually as PNG, JPEG or non-animated GIF files.
• Video and audio files are not supported.
• The images should be in HD resolution (either 1920x1080 or 1280x720 pixels) in order to take advantage of the entire screen (that is, the 16x9 aspect ratio). Larger and smaller images will be scaled to fit but they may not always cover the entire screen.
• Image file sizes should be kept as small as possible (maximum of 1 MB).
• A maximum of 50 images can be uploaded into the image library.
