Fiber Connect Plus system integrator's terms and conditions
- Spectrum will install Spectrum Equipment at the Service Location to support Spectrum’s Fiber Connect Plus TV Service (“FC+") up to the demarcation point (as defined below), and responsibility for equipment and infrastructure beyond the demarcation point shall be Customer’s responsibility.
In the event Customer orders standard FC+, the service will be delivered in quadrature amplitude modulation (“QAM”) format. In the event Customer orders FC+ with IP handoff, the FC+ will be delivered in internet protocol (“IP”) format. The demarcation point is defined as follows based upon the applicable FC+ format:
- For FC+ delivered in QAM format, the demarcation point is the coax connector on the Spectrum interface equipment.
- For FC+ delivered in internet protocol (“IP”) format, the demarcation point is the designated port on the Spectrum video edge switch (“VES”).
- For FC+ delivered in QAM format, the demarcation point is the coax connector on the Spectrum interface equipment.
- FC+ requires that TVs and any Customer video network equipment be MPEG-4 compatible. Commercial grade TVs are recommended. Customer is responsible for all applicable TV configuration and premises wiring.
- If Customer orders standard FC+, Customer’s Service Location is required to have coaxial cable infrastructure capable of supporting bandwidth of at least 860 MHz.
- If Customer orders FC+ with IP handoff, Customer’s Service Location is required to have Ethernet Cat5/6 local area network (“LAN”) and/or fiber LAN wiring.
- If Customer orders standard FC+, Customer’s Service Location is required to have coaxial cable infrastructure capable of supporting bandwidth of at least 860 MHz.
Capitalized terms used herein but not otherwise defined herein have their respective meanings assigned in the Spectrum Enterprise Service Agreement.
