[1] “2017 Travel and Hospitality Industry Outlook,” Deloitte Center for Industry Insights [2] “2017 Lodging Technology Study,” Hospitality Technology TRANSCRIPT As a traveler, I go to a hotel, I want to watch what I want to watch, I want to view what I want to view, and I want accessibility where I want accessibility, right. So that means I need more bandwidth to be able to stream the content that I want to watch. Everything that we're doing to create a more intelligent environment everything that we're doing to network every device and be able to track those devices is going to increase the bandwidth needs. And I think in terms of what's really important for the hotel or hotel brand to be investing in, it's not just the infrastructure and the bandwidth but is that combination of infrastructure, bandwidth, and software to manage that bandwidth but if you're not thinking today about where the silent traveler is going and their dependents both in terms of guests facing services as well as back up house services: housekeeping, restaurant, you know room service, all of that if you're not thinking ahead you're gonna miss the loyalty game because all of the messaging to the silent traveler is going to be dependent on a connection to the network and then the ability to engage via the other mobile device. As network planners we need to understand where the habits of guests are taking us, where the technology itself is evolving to, and then start to put a true analysis to how much that could mean, not just today to just consumption of bandwidth but tomorrow and years into the future.
