How can I troubleshoot my Spectrum Enterprise Unified Communications service?

Please refrain from rebooting Spectrum Enterprise provided equipment unless directed to do so by an Enterprise Technical Support Technician.

Single Spectrum VoIP Phone Issues

  • Verify the phone has power.
  • If the phone is not receiving power, your IT team may attempt to plug the phone directly into the Spectrum provided Point of Entry (POE) switch to identify a potential internal cabling issue.
  • Rebooting a VoIP phone can clear some issues.  If you need assistance with rebooting a VoIP Phone, click here for Enterprise Technical Support contact information.
  • Some single phone issues can be resolved by following the Quick Start Guides for your specific phone. 

 

Full UC service outage

In the case of no UC services, follow the steps below: 

  • Verify all Spectrum UCS equipment has power, including:
    • Spectrum VGW (Voice Gateway)
    • Spectrum POE Switch
    • Spectrum VOIP Phones
