What is the Mandatory 10-Digit Dialing Procedure?
In order to support the FCC's new three-digit number access to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline,
many people had to convert to 10-digit dialing. To see if your area code is impacted, you can refer to the FCC's fact sheet.
Spectrum Enterprise is fully compliant with this and all FCC regulations, but some of our clients may be impacted by this change. If you are in an area impacted by this change and have any applications set up to
a 7-digit number, such as PBXs, speed dial lists or call forwarding settings, you will need to update these to the 10-digit number.
