What are Ethernet services?

[Charter/Spectrum] Ethernet Services are a portfolio of Wide Area Networking (WAN) services which enable businesses to efficiently connect nonadjacent locations together to form a seamless and secure network environment. [Charter/Spectrum] Ethernet Services are MEF CE 2.0 certified. [Charter/Spectrum] leverages their fiber network, as well as an extensive Hybrid-Fiber Coaxial (HFC) infrastructure to provide last mile access to the Ethernet network. Our flexible network configurations provide dedicated connectivity over our secure, fiber network infrastructure.

Ethernet Services enable businesses to cost-effectively and reliably link key business locations to form a secure WAN infrastructure. Today's Ethernet Services provide the bandwidth and virtual routing capabilities required to support key applications that are becoming increasingly strategic business investments such as Voice over IP (VoIP), and e-commerce capabilities. Ethernet Services are widely utilized to support and enable Business Continuity and Disaster Avoidance strategies and plans which are critical to ensure businesses are able to continue to operate and meet the needs of their customers.
