Efforts across the country

Read stories about how Spectrum Enterprise serves schools, government agencies, healthcare providers, and more to keep things up and running.

  • Across eight states, Spectrum Enterprise has expedited Internet access and bandwidth upgrade requests from several universities and colleges that were serving as COVID-19 testing sites, enabling their employees to work remotely or fostering online learning for their students. In addition, Spectrum Enterprise has helped K-12 schools with increased Internet bandwidth requests to support online learning and related video conferencing.

  • Spectrum Enterprise has helped to ensure that many city and state agencies and local towns have the increased bandwidth and added SIP Trunks necessary to handle the Internet usage and elevated call volumes required by first responders and emergency operating centers, as well as government employees working remotely.

  • In fact, Spectrum Enterprise has fulfilled more than 35 requests from hospitals and healthcare providers from coast to coast - and Hawaii too - for Fiber Internet Access installations, Internet bandwidth upgrades or SIP trunk lines. In many cases, we completed the service request within 48 hours. Our vital connectivity services help to support the greater demand for telehealth visits, the increase in patients and the higher call volume, in addition to enabling many employees to work from any location during the COVID-19 situation.
