What is the difference between porting and moving lines or telephone numbers?

Porting and moving lines or telephone numbers is similar, with the difference being where the line exists today. When your line is serviced by a provider other than Spectrum Enterprise, we must PORT it in order to manage it. If Spectrum Enterprise already manages the number, but you want to move it to another Spectrum Enterprise account or location, we just move it to the new account.
