Why is my Carrier account number different?
Spectrum Enterprise has migrated some of our valued clients onto a new billing platform. While we are trying to make the change as seamless as possible for our valued clients, a new account number is generated when the account is created in the new platform. To better support you during this transition, you will see both your new and your old account number on your Carrier billing invoice. The new account number is labeled Billing Account Number. Your old number is labeled Legacy Account Number. You can see these numbers in the Account Detail section of the summary on the first page of your Carrier invoice. If you have multiple locations on your account, you will also see the old and new account numbers for each location in the Current Charges Detail section. Here, the new account number is called Service Account Number, and the old number is again Legacy Account Number.
