Why was I billed for excess wireless data usage?

You may see a charge if your consumption of data exceeds the allowance associated to your wireless internet plan.

Wireless excess data usage charges apply to Wireless Internet Access services provided with a data allowance and do not apply to Wireless Internet services offered with unlimited data usage. Excess data usage is calculated by deducting aggregate data allowance from actual wireless internet data usage across the same plan and then rounded to the nearest gigabyte (GB). Excess usage is billed at $8.00 per GB over the allowance.
