What is Auto Attendant?

Auto Attendant provides a virtual receptionist capability. Customers have the capability to modify the answer options including the number of rings, times when Auto Attend should be “on” or “off”, as well as the answer options.

Auto Attendant allows a Spectrum Business Voice line to be answered with an automated menu. The caller hears a menu defined by the user.

The menu can direct callers in several ways:

  • To another Spectrum Business Voice line (including hunt groups);

  • To a dial by name directory;

  • To a dial by extension;

  • To a voice mailbox36;

  • To another Auto Attendant (with another menu); or

  • To the general mailbox for the Auto Attendant.
